As of December 4^th, 2017, ten fingerprints of all Chinese visa applicants aged between 14 to 70 inclusive of the Swedish citizen will be collected and kept according to relevant Chinese laws and regulations. The following people can be exempted from fingerprint collection:

1. People under 14 years of age or over 70 years of age;

2. Diplomatic Passport holders or people who are entitled to Chinese diplomatic, official, courtesy visas;

3. Applying for Chinese visa again at the Consulate General within the next 5 years since fingerprints being collected;

4. People with ten incomplete fingers or those ten fingerprints can not be collected.
