On 22 March, the Consulate General and the Gothenburg Association of Chinese Students and Scholarship (GACSS) jointly held the "Drakens Dag" Chinese culture event at the Gothenburg City Library, attracting more than a thousand people from all walks of life to attend. 

In his speech, Acting Consul General Li Xiaoquan stressed that China's firm pursuit of an independent and peaceful foreign policy embodied the core of Chinese culture. China and Sweden are both peace-loving countries. The Consulate General hopes that the cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between the two sides will be deepened in the future.

During the event, overseas Chinese organizations and Chinese education institutions in Gothenburg presented performances of Hanfu show, Kunqu Opera, Guzheng, and Kung Fu, etc. They also set up interactive experience areas with calligraphy, paper cutting, and Weiqi (Go).
