On 2 September, at the invitation of the vessel owner Höegh Autoliners, Consul General Yang Peidong attended the naming ceremony of Höegh Moonlight, an Aurora-Class PCTC, held at the Port of Gothenburg.

Consul General Yang talked cordially with Leif O. Høegh, Chairman of the Höegh Autoliners, Claes Sundmark, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Port of Gothenburg, and Jan Andréasson, Honorary Consul General of Norway in Gothenburg, among others. He also met with the Chinese captain and crew, and exchanged views with industry personnel on the development of China's shipbuilding industry and the prospects for cooperation with Nordic shipping companies.
It is reported that Höegh Autoliners is a key partner of Swedish vehicle manufacturers such as Volvo. The Aurora-class vessels are among the largest and most environmentally friendly car carriers ever delivered in the world. They are all built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu), in an order of 12 vessels in total.
